Abstract

Pneumatic Valve This pneumatic valve comprises a valve chamber (14) divided by a diaphragm (M) into two regions (1, 2). The diaphragm (M) can connect a first opening and a second opening (VH2) of the valve chamber (14) to each other or isolate them in a first region, forming a 2 / 2 NO valve. The second region (2) can be connected to or isolated from ambient air by means of a shape-memory alloy actuator (16), a connecting opening (VT) of the second region (2) of the valve chamber (14) to ambient pressure being closed when the actuator (16) is not actuated. Through a third opening (VP) of the valve chamber (14) connected to the second region (2), the diaphragm (M) can be pressed against the first opening (VH1) and close it. The force of the SMA actuator (16) is designed solely to open the fourth opening (VT) in order to expose the second region (2) to the air.Figure for the abbreviation: Figure 1.
