Abstract

The invention provides a motorized dismantling barrel (30) for unscrewing a drum shaft (16) belonging to a drill, characterized in that it comprises a vertical tubular body (32) adapted to be immobilized against rotation by radial clamping with movable jaws (28) of the drill, and which, at its upper end, has a female recess (38) adapted to house and immobilize against rotation a head (18) at the upper end of the drum shaft (16). [0001] The invention relates to a motorized unscrewing tool for dismantling a spindle of a drill belonging to a drilling machine.

[0004] In a known manner, particularly in the building and public works sector, for example for drilling foundations, a drilling rig is used which comprises, along its vertical drilling axis: - a superior drilling machine comprising an output drive shaft; - a reel shaft whose upper end head is screwed onto the lower axial end of the output motor shaft to be driven in rotation and axially in both directions by the output motor shaft; - at least one drill bar driven in rotation by the lower end of the reel shaft; - and a pair of movable jaws controlled to radially clamp an axially oriented component arranged substantially coaxially to the drilling axis; and in which the upper end head of the spindle has at least one flat for driving it in rotation or immobilizing it by means of an additional tool.

[0005] In a known manner, the spindle of the reel passes through an injection box in rotation.

[0006] In use, it is necessary to dismantle the reel shaft at the beginning and end of the work site and, if necessary, in the event of control operations.

[0007] Such disassembly requires unscrewing the grinder shaft from the lower axial end of the output motor shaft.

[0008] For this purpose it is necessary to immobilize the spindle of the grinder in rotation, then to rotate the output motor shaft in the direction corresponding to the unscrewing of its lower end until the output motor shaft is separated from the upper end of the spindle.

[0009] To immobilize the rotating drum shaft, by means of an additional tool such as, for example, a key, the operator blocks the upper end head of the drum shaft and he angularly wedges the key against a fixed mast of the drill.

[0010] Such a method of unscrewing presents various disadvantages.

[0011] The key used weighs several kilos and is difficult to handle.

[0012] Furthermore, the key can only be handled with the side safety cage open, which - during unscrewing, if the key flies off - presents risks both for the operator and for personnel present on the site who may be seriously injured.

[0013] Moreover, the operator's control of the various components and their implementation is particularly difficult when the point of disengagement of the reel axis is reached.

[0014] The invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks. Summary of the invention

[0015] To this end, the invention proposes a new tool in the form of a motorized unscrewing barrel for dismantling a spindle of a drill belonging to a drill, for example as defined above, characterized in that it comprises a vertical tubular body which: - is able to be immobilized in rotation by radial clamping, by movable jaws, of a section of its tubular body; - and which, at its upper end, has a female recess suitable for housing and immobilizing in rotation an upper end head of the reel shaft.

[0018] The invention further proposes a motorized dismantling method by unscrewing the spindle shaft of a drill according to the invention equipped with a protective side cage to secure maintenance interventions by an operator in the reel axis area, characterized in that it comprises the successive steps consisting of: - open the side protective cage; - install the dismantling barrel between the moving jaws of the drill; - dismantle the components and equipment arranged around the reel axis; - close the side protective cage; - control the motorized closure of the drill's movable jaws around a section of the dismantling barrel; - control the axial descent of the reel shaft until the upper end head of the reel shaft is housed and immobilized against rotation in the imprint; - to control the operation of unscrewing the spindle, by rotating it with the output motor shaft, until it is disengaged from the output motor shaft; - to control at least a partial axial retraction of the output motor shaft; - control the motorized opening of the drill's moving jaws; - open the side protective cage again; - access the dismantling barrel and the previously unscrewed reel shaft which is then housed in the dismantling barrel. [0026] Figure 5 schematically represents certain components and constituent elements of a drilling machine comprising, along its vertical axis “V” of drilling: - an upper drilling machine 10 comprising an output drive shaft 12 whose lower end section is formed into a screw 14; - a reel shaft 16 having an upper end head 18 having a tapped hole 20 (See figures 1 and 2) into which the lower end section 14 of the output motor shaft 12 is normally screwed; thus the reel shaft 16 can be driven in rotation and axially in both directions by the output motor shaft 12.

1. Motorized unscrewing dismantling barrel (30) of a drum shaft (16) belonging to a drill, characterized in that it comprises a vertical tubular body (32): - which is able to be immobilized in rotation by radial clamping, by movable jaws (28) of the drill; - and which, at its upper end, comprises a female recess (38) able to house and immobilize in rotation a head (18) of the upper end of the drum shaft (16).

2. Dismantling barrel (30) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the female recess (38) has at least one internal flat (40) capable of cooperating with an external flat (17) complementary to the upper end head (18) of the reel shaft (16).

3. Dismantling barrel (30) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the female imprint (38) is formed in a ring (34) attached to the upper free end of the tubular body (32).
