Abstract
Hydrogel, in particular agar hydrogel, containing an extract of at least one agarophyte red algae, its preparation process and its use as a water-retaining fertilizer. Hydrogel based on at least one gelling agent, in particular agar, and containing a product extracted by an alkaline aqueous solution from at least one agarophyte red algae of the Gelidiaceae family.
