Abstract
This description relates to an ironing and / or steaming appliance comprising: - an iron (10) including a heated soleplate (13) having at least one steam outlet (100), - a board (30) for placing a garment (500), - a board support (40) coupled to the board (30), an opening (200) being provided in the board support (40), - a fastening device (50) for securing the iron (10) to the board support (40), the fastening device (50) being arranged so that, when the iron (10) is secured to the board support (40) by means of the fastening device (50), the steam outlet (100) of the iron (10) is positioned opposite the opening (200) of the board support (40), and - a diffuser element (300) allowing the passage from a fluid to the laundry (500) placed on the board (30),a diffusion conduit fluidly connecting the diffuser element (300) and the opening (200) of the board support (40), such that when the iron (10) is attached to the board support (40), the steam outlet (100) of the iron (10) is fluidly connected to the diffuser element (300) via the opening (200) of the board support (40).
