Abstract

METHOD FOR KERATINOUS FIBERS The present invention relates to a method for treating, preferably cosmetically treating, and more preferably revitalizing, keratinous fibers such as hair, comprising the following step: applying to the keratinous fibers at least one composition comprising (a) at least one ester of polyol(s) and fatty diacid dimer or one of its esters; (b) at least one fatty amine; and (c) propanediol, the composition comprising less than 1% by weight, preferably less than 0.1% by weight, and more preferably less than 0.01% by weight of (d) silicone(s), relative to the total weight of the composition. The method according to the present invention can provide keratinous fibers, such as hair, with good revitalizing effects such as good suppleness and a good coating feel, although the composition does not comprise a substantial amount of silicone.
