Endodontic cement based on calcium silicate and hydroxyapatite in nanoparticulate form

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of endodontic cements. More particularly, the invention concerns an endodontic cement based on calcium tri / disilicate and hydroxyapatite in nanoparticulate form. This cement exhibits improved properties in terms of biocompatibility, wettability, and the ability to enhance the healing of surrounding bone tissue. Furthermore, it is compatible with the incorporation of liposomes loaded with a disinfectant agent; it allows for the controlled release of this disinfectant over time, thus providing effective and reliable antimicrobial activity.
