Abstract

The invention relates to a process for treating a particulate semi-crystalline polyamide comprising a step of contacting an initial particulate semi-crystalline polyamide with water and at least one acid to obtain a mixture; a first step of heating the mixture to a first temperature T1 greater than or equal to Tc-20°C, Tc representing the crystallization temperature of the initial polyamide, then a second step of heating the mixture to a second temperature T2 greater than the first temperature T1, T2 being less than Tf, Tf being the melting temperature of the particulate semi-crystalline polyamide at the end of the first heating step, and a step of collecting the treated particulate semi-crystalline polyamide.
