Abstract

Method for manufacturing a locally reinforced composite part of revolution and the resulting part of revolution. A method for manufacturing a composite part of revolution comprises: - the deposition of a plurality of unidirectional fibrous layers onto a mandrel (200) to obtain a fibrous preform of a structural ferrule (100), - the creation by three-dimensional weaving of a fibrous texture (90) in the form of a strip, - the winding in one or more turns of the fibrous texture (90) onto the external surface (100b) of the fibrous preform (100) to obtain a fibrous preform of a reinforcing belt, the fibrous texture (90) having a width (l90) less than the width (l100) of the fibrous preform (100) of the structural ferrule along the axial direction.- the densification of the fibrous preform of the structural ferrule and the fibrous preform of the belt by a matrix so as to obtain a part of revolution in composite material comprising a structural ferrule made of a fibrous reinforcement corresponding to the fibrous preform (100) of the structural ferrule densified by the matrix and a reinforcing belt of composite material present on an external surface of the structural ferrule.
