Abstract

Actuation system (6) for actuating a pair of moving parts (4a, 4b) of an aircraft thrust reverser (1) (0), comprising: - a main actuator (7); - secondary actuators (8a, 8b); - a transmission mechanism (9) configured to simultaneously drive the movement of the moving elements (8a1, 8b1) of the secondary actuators (8a, 8b) to simultaneously move the moving parts (4a, 4b) to their over-retracted positions. The actuation system (6) includes a locking mechanism (10) comprising a first pair of hooks (10a1, 10a2), a first locking actuator (11a) for simultaneously moving the hooks (10a1, 10a2), and the transmission mechanism (9) opposing the movement of each of the moving elements (8a1, 8b1) as soon as at least one of the hooks (10a1, 10a2) in the locked position prevents said movement of all the moving parts (4a, 4b) via the transmission mechanism.
