Method for constructing an underground structure. Method for constructing an underground structure, in particular a tunnel segment, using at least one prefabricated caisson (10; 20), comprising the steps of: Constructing pre-support with at least upper reinforcing tubes (31) arranged above an excavation zone; Progressively excavating the ground in the excavation zone in front of the prefabricated caisson; Progressively driving the prefabricated caisson into the ground as excavation progresses, with adjustable-height sliding lower supports (90) interposed between the prefabricated caisson and the floor of the excavated cavity.
