Abstract

The invention relates to a device for identifying equipment (3), comprising an RFID transponder (1) containing an identifier of said equipment, characterized in that: - a rigid, hollow protective shell (2) covers the RFID transponder (1), - the protective shell (2) has an opening for the insertion of the RFID transponder (1), - the protective shell (2) is pre-filled with resin or adhesive which, after drying, holds the RFID transponder (1) in position inside said shell and ensures the adhesion of the assembly to the equipment (3).
