Abstract

The invention relates to a soundproofing panel designed to improve insulation by utilizing natural and recyclable materials with a low carbon footprint. The device consists of a single-piece, box-shaped panel with one or more internal walls connected by a honeycomb structure that prevents the separation of two external walls. The space between the walls is filled with sand. The panel walls and the sand act as sound absorbers and reflectors in a mass-spring-mass system, providing good sound insulation. The panel walls can be reinforced with metal strips for mounting, joining the panels together, and attaching a covering. The metal strips integrated into the panel's lateral sections also provide rigidity against any thrust force that may be exerted on the panel.Figure to be published for the abridged version: Figure number 1.
