METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING THE PERFORMANCE OF A PAIR OF HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATORS ON AN AIRCRAFT

Abstract

A method for monitoring the performance of a pair of hydraulic accumulators on an aircraft comprises: collecting (401) accumulator pressure values ​​during each of N aircraft flights, with N ≥ 2; for each of the N flights, calculating (403) an average pressure value for each accumulator; for each accumulator, calculating (404) an average of the N previously calculated average pressure values; calculating (405) a parameter P, which is the absolute value of the difference between the two averages; calculating (408) a leak indicator based on the difference between parameter P and a predetermined reference value; and triggering (410) an alert if the indicator is above a first predetermined threshold, and not triggering (411) an alert otherwise.
