Abstract
A method for non-destructive testing of a product (P) by microwaves, in particular a textile product, more particularly a fibrous textile product, a device for non-destructive testing of such a product by microwaves, and an apparatus for producing such a product equipped with such a device. The present invention relates to a method for non-destructive testing of a product (P) by microwaves, in particular a textile product (P), more particularly a fibrous textile product (P), said method using, in one of its embodiments, a non-destructive testing device comprising a waveguide (1). It further consists of measuring the amplitude of the parameter S11 or S12 of the waveguide (1) and processing exclusively the measurements of the amplitude of the parameter S11 or S12 of the waveguide (1) to determine an attribute of the product (P) passing through the tubular cavity (1a) of the waveguide (1).
