Abstract

Device (1) for performing a service, the device (1) comprising: a plurality (4) of cryptographic modules configured to each perform the service, the plurality of cryptographic modules comprising a pre-quantum cryptographic module (4a) and a second cryptographic module (4b); and a selection module (6) configured to obtain an identifier associated with an entity (E) requesting the service, select a cryptographic module from the plurality (4) of cryptographic modules based on the identifier, and cause a performance of the service using the selected cryptographic module.
