Abstract

Method for verifying the plausibility of an analog sensor signal and corresponding system. Method for verifying the plausibility of an analog sensor signal (S) containing motion information for a vehicle (1), wherein the analog sensor signal (S) is detected by means of a sensor (5) of the movement of an associated pulse wheel (3), coupled to vehicle movement. A digital output signal (A) and pulse data are determined by means of an application control device (7), which contains a number of pulses from the digital output signal (A) for a specified time interval. The sensor (5) determines plausibility data (P). The plausibility data (P) is protected and the pulse data is transmitted.
