Abstract

The cylindrical battery cell (100) comprises: a body (105) including a base (106) and an opening (107) arranged opposite said base (106); a cover (108) hermetically fixed to the opening (107); an electrode winding (103) arranged in the body (105) and electrically connected to the first and second poles (101, 102) of the cylindrical battery cell (100). The cover (108) includes at least one safety device (109a, 109b) delimiting a portion of the outer surface of the battery cell (100), said at least one safety device being configured to change from a closed state to an open state when a predetermined pressure force is exerted on said at least one safety device in the closed state in order to create a venting orifice.
