Adjustable mounting system for heart pump.

Abstract

The invention relates to a system for fixing an implantable cardiac pump through a wall of a ventricle of a heart, this system comprising: - a female ring having an inner wall of concave shape; said female ring being intended to come into fixed contact with the wall of the ventricle, - a male ring having an outer wall of convex shape complementary to the concave shape of the inner wall of the female ring; said male ring being at least partially inserted into the female ring in a pivoting manner;said male ring having a hollow area dimensioned to receive and rigidly fix the heart pump, - a fixation device accessible from outside the ventricle when the heart pump is implanted, this fixation device having two positions, a closed position intended to keep the male ring immobile relative to the female ring in a given orientation, and an open position intended to allow rotation of the male ring relative to the female ring, rotation in which the axis of rotation of the male ring is deviated by a non-zero angle relative to the axis of rotation of the female ring.
