Motor vehicle suspension stop

Abstract

The invention relates to a suspension stop comprising two cups (2, 4) forming a relative rotation interface (5) of said cups about an axis. The lower cup (4) comprises a support (8) having a lower wall (9) on which a filter element (10) is disposed. This filter element comprises an upper wall (11) sliding on the lower wall (9) and a lower wall (12) against which a suspension spring (1) is intended to bear. The support is made of a thermoplastic material, and the filter element is made of an elastomeric material. The material forming the support (8) incorporates an additive capable of increasing the relative sliding coefficient of the upper wall (11) on the thermoplastic material forming the lower wall (9).
