Abstract

The invention relates to a lighting device (27) suitable for integration into a motor vehicle tailgate (11), comprising: - a housing (29) having an inner portion (31) and an outer portion (33) opposite the inner portion (31); and - a first light source (41) and a first light guide (45) configured to direct light rays from the first light source (41) to a first optical element (35) in the outer portion of the housing. The invention is notable in that the inner portion (31) of the housing (29) includes a second optical element (37), a second light source (43), and a second light guide (47) configured to direct the second light rays from the second light source (43) to the second optical element (37).
