ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE STATOR INCLUDING MAGNETIC FLUID BARRIERS

Abstract

The present invention relates to a stator (1) of a rotating electrical machine, comprising a stator mass (11) having slots (3), electrical conductors (4) being housed in the slots (3), the slots (3) having radial walls (5, 6) having a length extending in a radial direction from a cross-section of the stator, the stator mass (11) forming teeth (9, 10) and further comprising magnetic flux barriers (7, 8), said magnetic flux barriers (7, 8) being formed in cavities of the stator mass (11) adjacent to the teeth (9, 10), said magnetic flux barriers (7, 8) extending radially around all or part of the length of said radial walls (5, 6) of the slots (3) between the slots (3) and the teeth (9, 10).
