Abstract

Door pillar trim for a side door of a motor vehicle, comprising an inner face (14a) adapted to be fixed to the door pillar (9, 10), an outer face (14b) opposite the inner face (14a) and intended to be positioned towards the outside of the motor vehicle (2), a lower portion (15) adapted to be positioned between the door pillar (9, 10) and an outer panel (7) of the door (3, 4), an upper portion (16) extending axially from the lower portion (15) and adapted to be positioned above the outer panel (7), the trim (14) comprising a peelable protective film (17) positioned on the outer face (14b), the peelable protective film (17) comprising a removal tab (19) formed by a portion folded by means of a fold line (P) extending into contact with the lower portion (15) of the trim (14), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hubcap (14),and the free end (17b) of the retraction tab (19) extending opposite the upper portion (16) of the trim piece (14).
