Abstract
A blade made of composite material with increased torsional stiffness and its manufacturing process. A blade (10) comprises a blade web (20) forming a blade root, a strut, and a blade body portion (13), the blade web being made of composite material comprising a fibrous reinforcement having a three-dimensional weave between a first plurality of warp yarns and a first plurality of weft yarns oriented respectively along the longitudinal and transverse directions. A blade body portion (21) of the blade web (20) includes a housing (24) located on one face of the blade body portion.A first portion of skin made of composite material (30) is present in the housing and comprises a fibrous reinforcement having a three-dimensional weave between a second plurality of warp yarns oriented mainly along a first direction making an angle with the longitudinal direction (DL) of ± 45° and a second plurality of weft yarns oriented mainly along a second direction making an angle with the transverse direction (DT) of ± 45°.
