Abstract

Composite material blade with improved torsional stiffness and its manufacturing process A blade (10) comprises a blade core (20) forming a blade foot, a strut and a part of the blade body (13), the blade core being made of composite material comprising a fibrous reinforcement having a three-dimensional weave between a first plurality of warp yarns and a first plurality of weft yarns oriented respectively along the longitudinal direction and along the transverse direction. The blade (10) further comprises skins of composite material (30, 31) including a fibrous reinforcement having a three-dimensional weave between a second plurality of warp yarns oriented mainly along a first direction (D1) making an angle with the longitudinal direction (DL) of between ± 10° and ± 80° and a second plurality of weft yarns oriented mainly along a second direction (D2) making an angle with the transverse direction (DT) of between ± 10° and ± 80°.
