Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle equipped with a grab handle (1) fixed to the inner wall of the passenger compartment, said handle (1) comprising a grab bar (2) and at least one pivotally fixed attachment point for the grab handle (1), said grab handle (1) pivoting between an inactive position where it is coplanar with the inner wall of the passenger compartment and an active gripping position in which the grab bar (2) extends into the passenger compartment from the inner wall of the passenger compartment. The grab handle (1) includes a wire suspension element (9) housed (13) within the grab handle (1) and pivotally mounted between a first position where it is housed (13) within the grab handle (1) and a second position, when the grab handle (1) is in the inactive position, where it extends angularly to the principal plane of the grab handle (1).
