Abstract
The present invention relates to a multi-glazed window or door offering improved thermal insulation. The window or door comprises an outer frame supporting an inner fixed pane of glass, an inner polyamide frame carrying a middle pane of glass, and an outer opening pane of glass mounted on a separate frame. The inner frame is designed with a thermal conductivity of less than 1 W / m / K, preferably less than 0.5 W / m / K, to minimize heat loss. (See Figure 5 for the abstract.)
