System and method for retrieving and recording colorimetric data for paint formulation The invention relates mainly to a system for retrieving and recording colorimetric data (1) for paint formulation comprising at least one spectrophotometer (2), computer means (3) connected to the spectrophotometer (2) and comprising means for communication (4) with said spectrophotometer (2), characterized in that the computer means (3) are configured to: - retrieve at least one first colorimetric data from a local source, typically a spectrophotometer (2); - retrieve at least one second colorimetric data from a remote network service, available for example on the Internet (6 - 9);- compare information corresponding to the first and second headers and, if the second header is different from the first header, modify the second header to make it compatible with the communication protocol between the spectrophotometer (2) and the computer means (3).
