Driving mode selector for motor vehicles comprising a rotary control element

Abstract

The invention relates to a driving mode selector for a motor vehicle comprising a rotary control member. A driving mode selector (2) according to the invention comprises a control member (4) pivoting about an axis (6) between an initial and a final position. A selection indicator (14) is positioned along this member. The device allows a driving mode to be selected based on the pivot angle of the control member (4), from its initial position to the indicator (14). A return mechanism systematically returns the control member (4) to its initial position. This design allows for intuitive and precise control of the driving modes. Figure 1
