Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and device for controlling a driver attention monitoring system for a vehicle, referred to as a DAA system, comprising a camera (120) arranged in the vehicle's passenger compartment (10) and configured to acquire images of the driver's face. For this purpose, representative shutter data from a lens of the camera (120) is received from the camera (120). The DAA system is controlled based on this data. (See Figure 1 for abbreviations.)
