Abstract

The invention relates to a headrest (1) for a motor vehicle seat, comprising a metal nut (4b) having a metal nut thread (6), a metal worm screw (8b) having a screw thread (9) received by said metal nut thread, a plastic nut (12) coaxially fixed to said metal nut by having a plastic nut thread (24), said screw thread fits snugly into said plastic nut thread, said metal nut thread is dimensioned to have clearance with said screw thread, said metal nut is positioned relative to said plastic nut so as to achieve said clearance, said screw thread and metal nut thread interpenetrate radially, ensuring, in addition to locking said screw by said plastic nut,an additional locking of said screw by said metal nut in case of impact causing damage to said thread of the plastic nut.
