Conforming fuel tank and associated flying machine. The tank (14) has a mean line, defined by the positions of the successive geometric centroids of the sections (Sn) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X) delimited by the inner surface (54) and by the skin surface (56). The mean line has a mean slope defined by the straight line segment between the forwardmost point (50) of the mean line of the tank (14) and the point of the mean line at the midship section, between 8° and 12° with respect to the longitudinal axis (X) in orthogonal projection onto a plane (XZ) defined by the longitudinal axis (X) and by an elevation axis (Z) of the platform (12), the midship section being defined by the maximum height of the mean line along the longitudinal axis (X), the height being measured in projection onto the elevation axis (Z).
