Floor slab joining element and associated processes

Abstract

The invention relates to a device (10) for connecting at least two adjacent slabs or blades positioned edge to edge of a floor or wall covering, the device comprises a flat body including a central part (12) linked to at least two peripheral parts (14), distinct from each other, arranged on either side of the central part; each peripheral part (14) includes a coupling means (16). The coupling means (16) comprises two tabs projecting from the body, of which at least one first elastic locking tab (22) is intended to engage by elastic deformation in the groove (18) of the slab (20) or blade, the locking tab (22) comprising an inner face (24) opposite a second tab (30) and an opposite outer face (26), the outer face (26) comprising a locking lug (28) intended to engage in a complementary shape of the groove (18) of the second tab.
