Vehicle key

Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle key comprising a body (20) having an opening, a push button (22), and a blade (21) having a groove (26) and a first gear (24) for rotating said blade (21). The push button (22) has a pivoting shaft actuating the first gear (24), which is adapted to move the blade (21) from a closed position to an open position. The key is notable in that it includes a pivoting element (23) having a second gear (25) configured to mesh with said first gear (24) in a direction of rotation. This pivoting element (23) has a rib (27) configured to fit into said groove (26) of said blade (21) in the open position. Figure 2
