Improved hybrid brake hose

Abstract

The invention relates to a brake hose (1) comprising at least: - a rigid metal tube (2) with two conical head fluid connection ends (3); - a sleeve (4) having an annular part (5) crimped around a first end (6) of the metal tube (2), the sleeve incorporating a male insert (7) having, on one side, a conical seat (8) intended to receive in a tight seal the conical head (3) of the first end (6) of the metal tube (2) and, on the opposite side, a grooved or threaded male part (9); - a flexible hose (10) with one end inserted in the sleeve (4) and fitted around the male part (9) of the male insert (7) of the sleeve;- a banjo fitting (11) having an annular portion (12) crimped around a second end (13) of the metal tube (2) and intended to be connected to a brake caliper, the crimped annular portions (5, 12) having internal means (18, 30) preventing their rotation around the metal tube (2).
