Abstract

Cryogenic Cooler with Enhanced Heat Transfer. The cryogenic cooler is configured to generate cooling by performing a thermodynamic cycle with a working fluid. The cryogenic cooler includes a heat exchange wall (18) for heat exchange between the working fluid, located on one side of the heat exchange wall (18), and a thermal mass to be cooled, located on the other side of the heat exchange wall (18). The cryogenic cooler includes a thermal coupling element (80) applied to the heat exchange wall (18) on the working fluid side. The thermal coupling element (80) is porous. (See Figure 1 for abbreviations.)
