Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for measuring the concentration of particles contained in a gas, said device, comprising at least two stages (10, 20, 30, 40) connected in series and communicating with each other; each stage is arranged to retain particles whose size exceeds a given value, specific to each stage. Each of the at least two stages comprises a particle sorting plate (102, 202, 302, 402) and a support plate (101, 201, 301, 401). Each sorting plate comprises at least two orifices (22) arranged to accelerate the particles passing through said sorting plates. Each support plate comprises at least one opening (108, 208, 308, 408) arranged to allow the flow of particles between two consecutive stages.At least one of the stages, referred to as at least one detection stage (10, 20, 30), comprises, successively, according to a direction of gas flow: a sorting plate, a Surface Elastic Wave Sensor (100), referred to as COES (100), arranged to measure, in real time, the concentration of particles contained in the gas, a support plate.
