Abstract

The invention relates to a speed sensor (1) for equipping a wheel hub and measuring the rotational speed of a wheel, the sensor (1) being designed to be inserted into an opening in the hub and comprising a mounting portion (8) for interacting with a mounting interface of the hub. When the sensor (1) is inserted into the hub opening, the mounting portion (8) has fastening means (10) designed to form a magnetic attachment with the mounting interface to secure the sensor (1). The invention also relates to a wheel hub comprising at least one opening designed to allow the insertion of a sensor (1), the hub further comprising a mounting interface for interacting with the mounting portion (8) and including additional fastening means for forming a magnetic attachment with the fastening means (10).
