Optimizing the bandwidth of a flow valve current sensor

Abstract

A flow valve current sensor (1) comprising: - at least one magnetic core (10a, 10b) through which extends a measuring conductor (8) carrying a target current (Ic), and at least one excitation winding (11a, 11b) wound around the magnetic core; - measuring components (16) arranged to acquire a measurement voltage (Vm1, Vm2) at one terminal of each excitation winding, and to measure at least one frequency component (Cf2) of the target current by exploiting at least one intermodulation product, present in the measurement voltage(s), and having as its intermodulation frequency a multiple of the excitation frequency plus or subtracting a frequency of said frequency component.
