Abstract
The invention relates to a rehabilitation system integrating virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR), intended for physical and occupational rehabilitation. The system comprises: an interface compatible with various hardware (VR / XR headsets, tablets, cameras), a 3D avatar representing the patient's actions in real time, an adaptive therapeutic scenario engine controlled by artificial intelligence, and a bidirectional tele-rehabilitation module (video, audio, avatar). The artificial intelligence dynamically adapts the difficulty of the exercises based on the patient's performance. The system allows for real-time control by the therapist, exercise personalization, and automated monitoring. The overall aim is to improve the efficiency, accessibility, and continuity of rehabilitation care in clinical and home settings. Figure designated for the abstract: Figure 1
