Abstract
The invention relates to a method for generating a desynchronization map containing quantitative morphological and physiological information, notably by implementing two steps: detecting the moment of transition between the parenchymal and cerebral venous phases of the cerebral circulation region, and generating the desynchronization map. During the detection of the cerebral venous phase, the onset image of the cerebral venous phase is captured, for example, using a dual-direction dynamic maximum enhancement algorithm, which measures the entropy changes at the transition point over the entire data acquisition cycle. This image is used to determine the desynchronization map.Desynchronization mapping provides the following information: complexity and density of collateral circulation, presence of a collateral venous phase, and quantification of the temporal desynchronization between cerebral and collateral circulation measured in seconds.
