Diagnostic and vehicle maintenance aid glasses and diagnostic procedures using such glasses

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and diagnostic glasses (12) for determining the state of at least one component of a set of components of a vehicle (10). The method is implemented by a processor (121) embedded in the diagnostic glasses and comprises receiving initial data representing images of a scene including the vehicle (10) acquired by a camera (122) embedded in the diagnostic glasses. At least one component is then identified in the images by an object detection algorithm, and a state associated with this component is determined by implementing a fault determination model applied to the images. Second data representing a report associated with the vehicle is determined, the report comprising the state associated with each identified component. (See Figure 1 for abbreviations.)
