Abstract
The invention relates to a method for adding thermal paste to a gap between a battery module and a cooling plate of a battery tray for a motor vehicle, characterized in that the method comprises a three-dimensional scanning step (E1) of the lower surface of the battery module and the upper surface of the cooling plate; a virtual determination step (E2) of the gap; a calculation step (E3) of the required quantity of thermal paste; an optimization step (E4) of the thermal paste deposition shape to minimize the quantity of thermal paste and the compression force required to assemble the battery module and the cooling plate; and a deposition step (E5) of the thermal paste onto the upper surface of the cooling plate via a nozzle of a dispensing device.
