Differential filter for aircraft onboard electrical converter

Abstract

This document relates to a differential filter (2) for an aircraft onboard electrical converter comprising: a coil (L_f); at least one differential mode capacitor (C_f) arranged in parallel with the coil; at least one damping cell (10), each damping cell (10) being arranged in parallel with said at least one differential mode capacitor (C_f) and comprising: a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor, having a resistance (r_1) which has an electrical resistance r1; a damping capacitor (C_d) arranged in series with the NTC thermistor having: an equivalent series resistance (R_ESR) having an electrical resistance, called ESR, which is a function of temperature, such that ESR at a minimum operating temperature, Tmin, is a function of ESR at a reference operating temperature, Tref, in which r1 is a function of ESR.
