Pumping device

Abstract

The pumping device (2) comprises: - a housing (3), - a joint system (4) arranged within the housing, - a drive shaft (5) rotated by the joint system, - a progressive cavity pump (6) comprising a stator (16) having a helical cavity with a first axis (A1) of symmetry, and a rotor (18). The pumping device includes a guide ring (44) fixed against the stator, the guide ring being coaxial with the first axis (A1). The rotor includes a guide shaft integral with the rotor, the guide shaft being adapted to roll against an inner surface of the guide ring when the rotor is rotated about a second axis (A2). Figure 1
