Apparatus for cleaning pipes

Abstract

Apparatus 10 for cleaning pipes comprising a sleeve 30 comprising an aperture 40 for receiving a pipe to be cleaned, the aperture extending at least partially through the sleeve 30 and comprising an abrasive material 50. The apparatus further comprises an attachment means 60 for connection to a drill, the attachment means being located at an end of the apparatus 10 opposed to the aperture. The attachment means may be releasably connectable to the sleeve. The sleeve attachment means may comprise a threaded connection, push-fit connection or locking connection. The apparatus may comprise a hollow, elongate body insertable in and releasably attachable to the aperture where the hollow elongate body comprises an abrasive material on an interior surface. Also claimed is a kit of parts including the described apparatus and a dill as well as a method of cleaning a pipe using the described apparatus.
