AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Households and commercial premises often lack a secure location to receive parcels, as standard letterboxes are too small and modifying doors for delivery boxes is not always feasible, leading to parcels being left unsecured on doorsteps, vulnerable to elements and theft.

Method used

A delivery box attachment means using L-shaped plates that fit through an aperture, such as a letterbox, with a locking mechanism to secure the box to a surface, allowing secure attachment without modifying the door.

Benefits of technology

Provides a secure and versatile attachment for delivery boxes, minimizing movement and theft risk, while allowing access to the letterbox and using minimal material, thus enhancing security and usability.
