Abstract

The present invention suppresses erroneous detection and an increase in processing load in a system for confirming the safety of a subject. A safety confirmation system (1) according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a first sensor (41) that senses biological information of a subject in a contactless manner within a predetermined detection area; a second sensor (42) that detects the number of subjects in the detection area of the first sensor in a contactless manner; and a control unit (30) that controls the first sensor (41) and the second sensor (42), and which, when the second sensor (42) has detected that there is only one subject in the detection area, causes the first sensor (41) to measure the biological information of the subject.
