Abstract
A buckle for a support, which can be a weightlifting support belt, comprising first 2 and second 20 anchor components for attachment to a support and a lever 70 pivotally connected to each of the anchor components such that the buckle can move between two configurations with different relative spacing. Pins with a foot extending from an end of them may be employed as anchors. A securing device 60 with a threaded portion may be used which can be engaged with a slot through a 90 degree rotation and may have a handle which can swivel. The second anchor component may be extendable using a tongue with teeth 36 and a securing device with a cam.
