Repairing device, system and method for repairing a hole in a net of a net pen above or in water

Abstract

A device for repairing a hole in a net of a net pen above or in water comprising a counterhold arranged to pass through the net from a direction of patch application, the counterhold being arranged to provide support when a patch 110 is applied to the hole. There may be a plate to support the patch, with an axle 103. The counterhold may comprise a spatula 107 at an end of the axle 103. Rotation of the main axle may cause rotation of the spatula 107 which is moveable between a first in which it is substantially aligned with the main axle 103 to facilitate insertion of the at least one rotatable spatula 107 and a part of the main axle 103 through the hole in the net, and a second position in which the at least one rotatable spatula 107 is pivoted relative to the main axle 103; and parallel to the first surface of the support plate 101. Upon rotation of the main axle the spatula may distribute adhesive onto the patch 110 through an adhesive outlet 105. Methods of using the device are also disclosed. [Figure 4]
