Induction heater

Abstract

An induction heater 100 comprises an induction coil 110, an inner heat exchanger 120 and an outer heat exchanger 130. The inner heat exchanger is positioned inwardly of the induction coil. The outer heat exchanger is positioned outwardly of the induction coil. The inner heat exchanger and the outer heat exchanger are inductively heatable by a magnetic field generated in response to an application of current through the induction coil, and the inner heat exchanger and the outer heat exchanger exchange heat with an airflow moving through the induction heater. The induction heater may be used in a domestic appliance, such as a haircare appliance. The domestic appliance further comprises a drive circuit for supplying a current through the induction coil of the induction heater, and an airflow generator for generating an airflow. The induction heater is configured to heat at least a part of the airflow.
